Frequently asked questions

How do I book a tour?

Send us a request through the form below or message us on WhatsApp. We reply quickly to confirm the date, the boat and the price — a small deposit then secures your booking.

What is included in the price?

Your private boat with a bilingual local skipper, fuel and VAT, snorkelling gear, welcome prosecco, water and soft drinks, and towels. Island landing fees and grotto entrance tickets are paid locally and are not included.

What should I bring?

Just swimwear, sun cream, a hat and a light cover-up. Towels are provided — everything else is taken care of.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The sea always has the final word. If conditions are unsafe, your skipper may adjust the route, or we reschedule the tour for another day — or refund it if no date works.

How many guests can come aboard?

Every tour is fully private. Capacity depends on the boat — up to 6 guests on the Ranieri International 24, up to 8 on the Gozzo 26, up to 11 on the Gozzo 30 and up to 10 on the Apreamare Gozzo 35.

Where do the tours depart from?

From Sorrento — usually Marina Piccola or Marina Grande. We confirm the exact meeting point when we finalise your booking.

Can we customise the itinerary?

Absolutely. The boat is yours for the day — tell your skipper what you'd most like to see and we shape the route around you.

Our story

A family love affair with the sea

Blue Amalfi Charter was born in Sorrento in 1984 from a simple belief: this coast is best understood from the water. Three generations later, we still navigate these waters ourselves — guiding you to the sea caves of Capri, the vertical gardens of Positano and the quiet corners only locals know.

  • A private boat, never shared with strangers
  • A bilingual skipper who grew up on this coast
  • Your own pace — swim, taste, explore, repeat
  • Welcome prosecco, drinks and towels always aboard
